Frankincense, Indian
Indian Frankincense, aka Boswellia serrata Frankincense oil is a clean, woody, citrus variety compared to the typical Frankincense oil, making this a great alternative at a lower price range.
Frankincense, Moroccan
This oil is a lower grade oil than some of our other Frankincense oils, however is extracted exclusively for it's aromatic components. It has a rich and sweet aroma and would be great for diffusing or to wear.
Frankincense, Somalian 2
Frankincense essential oil is perfect for cosmetics (i.e., mature skin preparations) and aromatherapy, and is a great fixative in fine perfumery. It is renowned for sacred uses, and because it slows and deepens the breath, its application is beneficial prior to meditation. This Somalian Frankincense is bright and uplifting with peppery notes, not as heavy as our other Somalian (1) Frankincense. Blends well with almost any other oil, especially wood tones, citruses and florals.
Frankincense, Sudanese
This is one of our favorite Frankincense oils in our shop. It has a rich full aroma and is perfect for diffusing or wearing.
Frankincense, Tunisian
This Frankincense is intended for aromatic purposes, either in a diffuser or for the skin.
We can not verify that this is unadulterated, aka pure essential oil.
Galbanum
Galbanum essential oil was used by the ancient civilizations as an incense, and in Egypt for cosmetics and in the embalming process. It is generally used in the East for skin disorders. Smells ancient, with a green top note. Very distinct. A little goes a long way. Blends well with following essential oils: violet, lavender, Geranium, oakmoss, pine, fir, and oriental bases.
Ginger
Zingiber officinale, also known as Ginger, has a spicy, woody aroma, with hints of lemon and pepper.
Ginger, Fresh
Our Organic Fresh Ginger essential oil is made from fresh ginger root rather than dried, giving it a beautiful fresh aroma. This is a beautiful oil useful for aromatherapy and perfumery. Aromatherapy Uses: Used to stimulate digestion, increase circulation, as a liniment for muscle and joint pain, and as an antiseptic; useful for colds, nausea, preventing motion sickness and jet-lag.
Grapefruit, Pink
Of all the citrus oils, Pink Grapefruit is by far the most energizing. I find it impossible to sit still when we are diffusing Pink Grapefruit. It makes us all want to get up and move! Physically, Pink Grapefruit oil is also helpful in treating oily skin and hair. Pink Grapefruit, applied topically, is recommended as part of anti cellulite blends because of its toning and astringent effects. It has been shown to stimulate the lymphatic system, and thus help the body remove toxins. Recent research has also shown that inhaling Grapefruit Essential Oil may help reduce the craving for sweets. Couple this with its energizing effect, and it's clear to see Pink Grapefruit essential oil is truly the dieter's friend. Blends well with: All Citrus oils, Cypress, Frankincense, Myrrh, Cistus, Cedarwood, Lavender, Rosemary.
Grapefruit, Red
When compared to Pink Grapefruit, Red is just as uplifting, but a bit sweeter. This oil could brighten any room and lighten any mood.
Ground Control
Life gets a little chaotic and energy does too. Sometimes we need to ground ourselves and start anew. Vetiver has strong roots that extend deep into the earth. Tobacco, Black Spruce, and Dark Cardamom enhances your journey back to yourself.
Helichrysum
Helichrysum gymnocephalum is derived from the Greek helios, meaning sun, and chrysos, meaning gold. Has a fresh & herbal aroma. Blends well with Chamomile, Lavender, Clary Sage, Rose, and most Citrus aromas.
Helichrysum, Organic 1
Helichrysum essential oil is credited by aromatherapists as being effective for abscesses, acne, bruises, boils, burns, cuts, dermatitis, eczema, irritated skin and wounds. It is also reputed to be an uplifting, spiritual oil. Helichrysum essential oil blends well with chamomile, lavender, clary sage, rose, Peru Balsam, clove and any of the oils from the citrus oil family. Helichrysum has a powerful scent that can be described as a floral mint. It is both earthy and fresh. can be used in a diffuser if desired. It is thought to be a releaser of Qi (Chi), unblocking and regulating this essential energy in the body. It may help individuals that are emotionally blocked, dispersing more deeply embedded repression.
High John
High John the Conqueror root. This oil is most likely a co-distillation and we cannot verify the contents.
Hinoki Wood
Meaning "white cedar" in Japanese, Hinoki Wood has been known to be a natural cleanser. Blends well with: Rosewood, Bergamot, Cypress, Cassia, Jasmine, Juniper, Neroli, Labdanum, Clary Sage, Vetiver, Rosemary and Ylang-Ylang.
Ho Wood
Ho Wood, or Cinnamomum camphora, has been used instead of Rosewood Oil because they have similar properties and applications. Previously has been used for sword and knife handles, because it would not scratch the blade.
Honeysuckle, Absolute
Our Honeysuckle fragrance is found from the flower Lonicera caprifolium, which is known to be native to Europe. As the name suggests, this scent is very honey-like.
Hyssop
Mentioned in the Bible for purification and was used commonly used by Romans. A woody, yet sweet aroma that can also help scarred skin.
Illuminare
A combination of Sandalwoods, rich and long lasting on the skin.
Juniper Berry
Peppery, turpentine-like, balsamic and warm, smoky, fresh and woody, reminiscent of evergreen oils. Supportive, restoring and a great nerve tonic. Cleans the atmosphere in your surroundings. Good oil for meditation. Popular oil in weight loss and detox blends, because it is diuretic and considered purifying and clearing. Blends well with Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Cypress, Elemi, Pine, Clary sage, Lavender, Fennel, Grapefruit and other Citrus oils, Geranium, Rosemary. Popular ingredient in masculine, outdoor-type perfumes and after shaves.
Lavandin, Grosso
Floral, herbaceous, fresh. Its oil production is higher, and of a stronger, more camphoraceous quality than a typical Lavender. Many products that carry the "Lavender" label are actually made with the less expensive Lavandin. Characteristics are similar to true Lavender, even though true Lavender is more regarded for certain applications. Lavender offers a multitude of benefits and uses. It balances the mood, clears the mind, has a long tradition in skin & hair care as well as medicine and is used for many household solutions. Apply a few drops to a tissue and inhale, or place on your pillow for restful sleep. Add a few drops to your laundry rinse, your drawers, and the water reservoir of your iron for fresh smelling laundry. Blends well with almost everything; really nice with citrus notes, florals and herbs.
